“We are a volunteer run, no-kill animal rescue organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating the strays of NYC. Our mission is to provide our cats with a safe, loving, and enriching environment until they land in their forever homes, no matter how long that takes! The cats at our adoption center are free roam 7-10 hours per day, so we know their purrrsonalities very well. Come visit us in the East Village weekends 12-5 and weeknights 6-8 or support us through our Wish List links!”

Safe in Austin is a non-profit that rescues all species of animals coming from abuse & neglect, from turkeys and macaws, to pigs and horses. They open their doors to children who come from similar backgrounds as many of the animals they rescue.

“…we rescue all species of animals that come from abuse, neglect, or have special needs, and invite children with similar stories to come and heal alongside them. Our animals provide healing to trauma, at-risk, and/or special needs children by way of unconditional friendship and a clear, loving, example of they are looking for most…HOPE!!”

From 2/1/2022 - 2/28/2022 we will be donating all the profits from each bag of coffee sold ($10) directly to Safe in Austin! You can shop our coffee HERE, or donate directly via one of the links below

Animal Haven also provides Community Engagement programs that enhance the bond between animals and people, and endeavor to keep people and their pets together whenever possible. Just like the small-but-mighty team at Little Cat, Animal Haven's small, dedicated team of staff and volunteers work hard to create big change for animals in need!

Equine Advocates 8/17 - 9/7

It’s not always about cats! Equine Advocates & Sanctuary - a non-profit 501(c)(3) equine protection organization

This time around we venture away from cats & dogs to help some of our larger four footed friends! We’re partnering with Equine Advocates, a national equine protection organization, to raise money for their incredible, 140+ acre, equine sanctuary! Between Monday, August 17th, and Monday, September 7th we'll be donating $10 for every bag of coffee purchased from our web store.

Here’s a little bit of their story:

Equine Advocates is a national non-profit 501(c)(3) equine protection organization founded in 1996

In 2004, Equine Advocates Rescue & Sanctuary (a 140-acre facility in upstate New York) was established. Truly a haven for horses, It is an equine village where horses can live out their lives in a natural environment that allows them to socialize with each other. The 80+ equines who reside here receive lots of TLC. Most were slaughter-bound and/or came from abusive situations

Equine Advocates is also an award-winning organization, honored by the New York State Humane Association and the Thoroughbred Charities of America for excellence in equine protection and rescue work, including numerous multi-horse rescue operations. Since our inception, we have focused both on horse rescue and advocacy, exposing the cruel horse slaughter and pregnant mares’ urine (PMU) industries and other forms of equine abuse.

Since 2006, Humane Equine Education has become a very important focus of this organization as we target horse owners and young people, in particular, because they are the future horse owners of America.
